Believers in angels, spirit, healing and supporting each other
Welcome to our site, a gentle and healing place where friends meet to reflect and to support each other. Together we share our spiritual journeys, as different and varied as they may be, sharing thoughts, words, photos, artwork ... indeed anything that is spiritually uplifting.

"We are each of us angels
with only one wing.
And we can fly only
by embracing
each other."
- Luciano de Crescenzo
(My thanks to Angela for finding us this picture and to Helene for the quote).
If the background theme does not load with a perfect picture please check with one of the Site Support Team.

The bonds of friendship take no notice of miles. Friendship grows in unknown ways.
If you need help with anything on the site please ask one of the four members of our Site Support Team.
These are myself - Lynda - and also Angela, Lin and Gigli. Between the four of us we are always on the site more or less daily. You can identify us by the little golden "smiley" on our avatars.
Angela is pretty much our IT whizz kid for the trickier stuff but all of us can help regarding general enquiries about how to add photos, blogs, videos etc etc. Gigli also has an Apple Mac which has been known to throw up its own quirks so she is the apple of our eye on that one!
For all our new members, you will soon get to know our regular contributors as their smiling little faces appear all the time on the "Latest Activity" bar....my everlasting thanks to all these lovely and loyal people.
Our regular contributors to our daily thought are:
Sunday: Fiona
Monday: Lynda
Tuesday: Gigli
Wednesday: Angela
Thursday: Helene
Friday: Lin
Saturday: Ameurta
Forgetting myself here, I just want to thank the other 6 wonderful ladies who so willingly give their time every week to help me keep our site fresh and new. Thank you girls!
(Angel by Tracey)
Raphael is the archangel of healing. If you would like to add someone to our healing list, please let me know.
Could I also ask you please to let me know when someone can be taken off the healing list. I think it is important to be able to give feedback on those we have been sending healing to or offering prayers for.....and it is also important to keep the list "fresh and up to date" so that those who need the healing the most are the ones who receive it.
..................................
May I ask all of us who practise healing or offer prayer to remember our friends below.
Please send healing

The leaderboards are currently showing the 10 most "commented on" posts for TODAY. However, they DO NOT show ALL the most recent activity. To follow all the latest posts you need to check the "Latest Activity" column on the left hand side of this page.
Sometimes the leaderboards show the most "commented on" posts for the WEEK but I only do this when there has not been enough activity on the site to show it for the DAY.
Hello everyone
I am having a bit of a "funny" time at the moment with my emotions all over the place and am so thankful just now to have FYW as my "safe place." Mind you FYW has always had a very special place in my heart since the day it was born and I have made some very beautiful friendships here so it completely makes sense that it is a refuge from the constant onslaught of the outside world.
Today I intend to throw myself into a frenzy of cleaning out drawers and ironing. I started my "drawer clearing" a week or so ago and it really is good for the soul - at least for me! I really love to see things all organised and tidy. What spurred me on last week was looking into my drawer of face cream, make up etc etc. It was such a horrific mess and I thought if anyone had to suddenly clear it out, they would pick up all the old mascaras and tubes and simply think "Ugh!" So now it is completely free of ancient stuff and what is left is all tidied away into little boxes.
I did another three drawers yesterday and as Benn helped me for hours yesterday to back up all my family photos and also add music to my MP3 player, I am going to do the good thing today and clear out his bedside drawer which has to be seen to be believed. :-)
Have a lovely week everyone.
Love Lynda xx

I expect many of you have seen this before but in my frenzied tidying out of drawers this week, I came across this beautiful piece of writing which I think was originally sent to me through email and I so loved it, I printed it out and popped it into "one…

I just wanted to thank all the ladies who turned up in the Chat Room last night for our little "cyber get together"! They are always such fun and this one was no exception. It was so nice to be able to introduce some of you to each other and it was so special to see how the conversation(s) flowed. I have to say conversations because (as you will know if you have ever been in the chat room) there are usually about three going on at once and you have to become quite adept at keeping the…
